Una Pajić

In September 2011, he was employed at the Special Hospital “Heart Center BH Tuzla” (later named “Medical Institute Bayer” Tuzla). For 3 years, she worked as a second assistant and then as a specialist in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, where she started her specialization of the same name. At the end of 2014, she became a member of the Department of Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology. and in 2015, he started a focused specialization in cardiology at the University Hospital Tuzla. He will take the specialist exam in December 2020.

Biography

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tuzla in 2009, after which she completed a 1-year internship at the University of Tuzla. He got his first job at the Health Center in Orašje in the Family Medicine Service and the Emergency Medical Service, where he spent 8 months.

Dr. Una’s work at the Department of Invasive Cardiology includes performing invasive cardiology procedures such as coronary angiography and PCI (stent procedure), implantation of devices for electrostimulation of the heart and defibrillation, electrophysiological procedures, conventional and with the use of 3D mapping systems.

Outpatient work includes non-invasive diagnostic procedures: transthoracic echocardiography, ergometry, ECG Holter diagnostics and analysis of cardiovascular implantable devices.

The broad continuous education in the home institution and UCC Tuzla is supplemented by education in the field of electrophysiology led by expert teams from Rikshospitalet Oslo, Norway, where he is staying for a month in 2019.

The training for complex arrhythmias with the use of 3D mapping system in our Institution is carried out by an expert team from KB Dubrava, Croatia.

He attends and presents at national, regional and international symposia and congresses.

She is a member of the Association of Cardiologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Association of Cardiology (ESC) and its subsections: European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) and EAPCI Young, for which she was the National Ambassador for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the term of 2016- 2018

He has a total of 12 years of work experience.

One of the goals is the promotion of physical activity and adequate nutrition as a prevention of cardiovascular diseases. He does mountain and road cycling and is a lover of nature and sports.
